Note From Julie: Plan Now for Your 2019 Professional Development

Each year, dozens of amazing admin-centric conferences take place around the world! Few of us have the luxury of attending them all. So it’s important to choose wisely, especially if you can get funding for a professional development conference.

With just a couple weeks left in 2018, now is the time to start thinking about and researching the conferences and training you want to attend in 2019. Have you ever attended a full-day or multi-day administrative event? Do you prefer smaller, more intimate settings for training, or is the buzz of a big crowd and active venues more appealing? These are all important points to consider when doing your research and making your training selection.

I’ve had the opportunity to attend dozens of conferences – big and small – both as an administrative professional and as a speaker. Over the course of the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting some of my recommendations for various types of admin conferences. We’re kicking things off this week by featuring my top picks for midsize (300-400 people) to large (1000+ attendees) admin conferences. And as always, we’re sharing plenty of great information on our Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages.

Selecting a conference or training event isn’t something you should take lightly. With careful research, you can find the perfect event to enhance your admin career!
Supporting your administrative success,

Julie Perrine
